HCL 26: Two Eyes For An Eye was the twenty-sixth mixed martial arts event held by the Human Cockfighting League. The event took place on December 8, 2013 from Estadio Pica Pollo in Aguas Buenas, Puerto Rico. This marked the first time the HCL visited Puerto Rico.
This event featured seven sanctioned mixed martial arts bouts. All fights consisted of three five-minute rounds, except for the main event championship fight, which consisted of five five-minute rounds.
The main event highlighted the much anticipated championship fight between Jorgi Magumbo and long-time contender Salvador Topanopoulos. In the first round, Big Top attempted to take the fight to the ground and keep it there, a mistake Magumbo played into, with more than one submission scare. However, early in the second round, the champion landed a solid head kick that was the beginning of the end for the big Greek ringmaster. A minute later, Topanopoulos was unable to recover, and the fight was stopped.
The losing streak of Stuart Peppers in high profile fights continues, as the fan favorite lost via knockout yet again, to Miguel Dominguez in a fight with a future Welterweight Championship shot on the line. The two went toe to toe, with Dominguez often getting the best of the striking battle, landing significant strikes at the end of both the first and second rounds. However, in the third, as Peppers' hands began to drop, Dominguez landed two strong hooks, the second of which put his opponent to sleep.
Also of note at this event was the battle between Lamar O'Neal and Phil Nasseri, two strong up-and-coming heavyweights. These two went to war, with both fighters nearly finishing the other off on multiple occasions. In the end, the fight went the distance, and two judges scored the bout 29-29, indicating a majority draw, the first ever in HCL history. Immediately after the fight, Leighton Cockburn announced on Twitter that this fight would have a rematch very soon.
